On this day in 1925, English writer Virginia Woolf published ‘Mrs Dalloway’, one of her best-known novels. Woolf is considered one of the most innovative writers of the 20th century, known for her stream-of-consciousness narrative style, in which characters are depicted through interior monologues. A feminist, Woolf also explored gender roles, societal expectations, and women’s experiences in her work.
